Macrometer is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data, specifically regarding the collection, retention, and deletion of information.

1. Collection and Use of Health Data

Macrometer is a calorie-tracking application. To provide its core functionality, the app processes Health Data, specifically:

• Nutrition Data: This includes food items, calorie counts, and macronutrient information manually entered by the user.
• Usage: This data is used solely to provide local tracking, visual progress charts, and nutritional analysis within the app.

Storage: This data is stored locally on your device. No nutrition or personal health data ever leaves your device, and no personal health information is collected or accessed by the developer.

2. Third-Party Data Collection (Crash Reporting)

We use Firebase Crashlytics (a service provided by Google) to collect crash reports and improve app stability. If Macrometer crashes, it sends the following information to Crashlytics:

• Device type, OS version, and hardware information.
• The state of the application at the time of the crash and stack traces.

This information does not include your IP address, name, or any health/nutrition data. It cannot be used to identify you or your mobile device individually.

3. Data Retention

Because Macrometer operates entirely on your device without a server-side component:

• Health and Nutrition Data is retained on your device for as long as the app is installed or until you manually clear the app data.
• Crashlytics data is retained by Firebase according to their standard retention and privacy policies.

4. Data Deletion

You have full control over your data. You can delete all health and nutrition data at any time through the following methods:

1. System Settings: Navigate to Android System Settings > Apps > Macrometer > Storage & Cache and select “Clear Storage” or “Clear Data”.
2. Uninstallation: Uninstalling the Macrometer app from your device will permanently delete all locally stored health and nutrition data.
